International Arts, Culture & Enterprise programmes

International Community Project programme

Introduction

2 Students giving a piggy back rideWidening horizons and developing young people's aspirations is a core part of our International programmes. Taking young people out of their usual environment and introducing them to a new experience, socially, culturally and economically, will challenge them.

Real World Journey's trips provide a safe and secure environment within which your young people can face these challenges and out of which they can grow as a result. We work with an experienced on the ground team in Morocco to make this happen.

A Global Dimension

Linking to your curriculum
The International Arts, Culture & Enterprise programme or Community Project programme give you the opportunity to integrate the global dimension into your curriculum or degree study programmes. Key concepts include global citizenship, diversity, interdependence, social justice, sustainable development and values & perceptions.

The programmes aim to raise your young people's awareness of another culture and enable them to begin to understand and appreciate life from a different perspective. The programmes are seen as a valuable part of your students' personal development and are also something which the students are unlikely to experience on their own initiative. The programmes further aim to develop, encourage & facilitate the following skills sets:

We are happy to work with you to develop a programme specific to your students' needs and ready to answer any questions which you may have. Please refer to the separate programmes for further information and example programmes.
