Big Knit Yarn ends are absolutely perfect for rug makers and weavers, and if you are a textile student, an absolute godsend, both in terms of price and variety of product.  We know, because of their serious success at our shows around the UK where they are pounced on by the above users.  So we're now offering them through our website.

Our Big Knit Yarn itself is the selvedge waste product from industrial weaving.  It is 100% wool and it comes with colour and pattern already woven in.  Stage two of processing the yarn into our extraordinary wool footballs results in offcuts of yarn ends which are not long enough for us to use.  Because we value recycling, we package these ends into 1 kilo lots and hey presto, here they are. 

Ends measure an average of 60cm (2 ft) and come in an undetermined mixture of colours.
